The SC-MaxFiberRU is the official add-on kit for expanding a SureCall SignalMax Fiber DAS system. It includes everything needed to add one remote unit and connect it to the existing master unit.

Note: Coverage can be improved by adjusting antenna placement and ensuring proper spacing between donor and server antennas in the system. The stronger the signal entering the master unit, the better the performance you’ll get at each remote unit.

2. Run the Fiber Connection

Use the included 250-foot single-mode fiber optic cable to connect the remote unit to the master unit. The fiber should plug into the SC UPC port labeled "Optic" on both ends. Be sure to avoid sharp bends or tight loops when routing the fiber.

3. Install Indoor Antennas

Connect up to four inside antennas to the RF ports on the remote unit using SC-400 coaxial cable (not included in this add-on kit). Each antenna should be ceiling-mounted in areas where you want to improve signal. Keep antennas well spaced from each other and from the building’s exterior walls to avoid interference.
