The SureCall LTE Antenna Direct-Connect Cell Signal Booster (SC-LTE-V) is built specifically for the Verizon LTE network in the United States. It boosts Verizon 4G LTE and low-band 5G on bands 2, 5, 13, and 66. It is not designed to work with AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or any non-Verizon device.

Because this is a direct-connect system, it serves one device at a time. The signal does not rebroadcast into the surrounding area. The quality of the boost depends entirely on the Verizon signal available where you mount the outdoor antenna. The better that outside signal, the better the connection at the device.

For most installations, mounting the antenna higher and pointing it toward the nearest Verizon tower gives you the strongest result. If your site has no usable Verizon signal at all, no booster can create one. With even a weak but usable Verizon signal outdoors, the SC-LTE-V's Extended Range Technology has the headroom it needs to keep a connected device online.

Installation is intentionally simple for a system designed to live on a rooftop or wall and serve one device:

1. Identify the best outdoor signal location. Walk the site and check Verizon signal strength at potential antenna mounting points. Higher locations with a clear line of sight toward the nearest Verizon tower almost always test better. Note that the connector type is SMA Male, so confirm your device's external antenna port accepts the same connector or use an appropriate adapter.
   
2. Mount the integrated antenna and amplifier. The donor antenna and amplifier come as one unit, so you only have one piece to secure outdoors. Use the included cable ties or any standard mounting hardware suited to your surface, whether that is a pole, mast, wall, or rooftop bracket.
   
3. Run the cable to the device. The included 20-foot cable connects from the integrated unit through the power injector and into your device's external antenna port. Keep the cable run as direct as possible, avoid sharp bends, and do not coil excess cable near the power injector or device.
   
4. Power the system. The power injector connects to a 120VAC power source and supplies power to the antenna unit through the same coax cable. The system draws roughly 10W in typical operation, so a standard wall outlet is more than enough.
   
5. Verify the connection. Once powered, check that your device shows a stronger Verizon signal than before. Most modems and panels report signal strength somewhere in their status interface. If signal is still weak, try repositioning the outdoor antenna toward a different tower or moving it to a higher mounting point.
   

A few practical notes worth knowing before you start: the operating temperature range is 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, which works for most North American climates but means you should mount the outdoor unit in a location that stays within that range. The amplifier needs to be paired with a 120VAC indoor power source, so plan your cable run accordingly.
